Text and Document Translation allows you to translate written content — from short chat messages to multi-paragraph articles — into over 120 languages and dialects. This feature is designed for both quick, ad-hoc translations and structured, template-based workflows that ensure consistent terminology and style.

Right now, translations are performed by pasting your text directly into the translation interface. You select the source and target languages, and the system returns an instant translation optimised for readability and context.

Unlike speech translation, this feature gives you greater control over tone, style, and vocabulary. You can apply** custom glossaries** to ensure consistent use of domain-specific terms, and prompt control (coming soon) to adjust tone (e.g. formal, friendly) or purpose (e.g. marketing copy, technical documentation).

For recurring translation tasks, you can create templates that pre-load language pairs, glossary terms, and prompt settings. This makes it easy to standardise translations for customer support responses, announcements, training materials, or other repeated workflows — reducing turnaround time and improving consistency.
