Audio Translation Setup
Step-by-step guide to setting up Audio Translation — from uploading files to exporting multilingual transcripts and subtitles.
Audio Translation enables you to generate transcripts and translations from your audio files in just a few clicks. Perfect for podcasts, interviews, or voice recordings you need to make accessible across languages.
What You Need
- A user account with access to Video Translation features
- A stable internet connection
- A clear, good-quality audio file in a supported format (e.g., MP3, WAV)
- Optional: Custom glossary for consistent terminology
Setup Steps
1. Create an Audio Project
Click Create in the top-right corner of your homepage, then select Audio.
Upload your audio file, select the language spoken in the recording, and fill in your project details.
2. Translate
Once your audio is uploaded, the transcript will automatically appear on the left side of the screen.
Click the Translate button and choose one or more target languages to generate instant translations.
3. Download Your Translations
After translation is complete, you can:
- Download the transcript in text or subtitle format
- Download the translated transcript in your selected languages
Customisation Options
- Upload a glossary for consistent translation of specific terms.
- Choose between formal or casual translation tone styles.
- Enable timestamping for easier alignment with your audio playback.
Troubleshooting
- Ensure your audio file is clear and not distorted.
- Check that your internet connection is stable during upload.
- If transcription fails, try re-uploading the file or adjusting audio length.
